Story of the hotel
Loire Valley Lodges was conceived and built by Anne Caroline and Bertrand to bring together in one place their personal inspirations and passions: art, wilderness and French hospitality.
In the heart of a 300-hectare private forest, this unique place where contemporary art blends with raw nature will give you an exceptional sensory experience. Your stay at Loire Valley Lodges will sound like a true stopover of well-being and relaxation. You will forget time, rediscover your five senses and more by reconnecting with nature and especially with the essential: yourself!
Nestled four meters high in the trees, each of the 18 lodges has been designed by a contemporary artist and has a large terrace open to nature with a private Jacuzzi. Some are also equipped with a private sauna. You will find all the comfort and services of a luxury hotel orchestrated by your hosts. Breakfast will be served directly in your lodge so you can enjoy the birdsong and start a new day in the right way while extending your moment of total disconnection from everyday life. All lodges are digitally detoxified, to stay in touch with the real world, only the main house offers a wi-fi connection. This one is surrounded by a beautiful garden, where flowers and artworks will make you experience a romantic getaway.
The gastronomic restaurant Ardent and its chef will propose you a menu based on the production of their own permaculture garden and local producers with recognized know-how. Fresh and seasonal products cooked with fire, flame, ashes or embers ... the signature of the restaurant!
Treat yourself to a sensory interlude and energy boost with a wide range of energetic massages and facials performed directly in your room or on the terrace of your lodge. Discover forest therapy with Shirin Yoku's guided tours. Enjoy a private yoga session to perfect your moves or relax in the outdoor pool (open from May to October). The domain is located in the heart of the Loire Valley Castles, 15 minutes away from the most romantic of them: Chenonceaux. Visiting them is obviously a must, but why not fly over them in a hot air balloon for magical moments? The Loire and the Cher are only a few kilometers away, and you can take a canoe or a sailboat ride at sunset... here again, magical images. In the heart of a region famous for its vineyards, Anne Caroline and Bertrand will offer you many options to visit cellars, vineyards and wineries. Their advice? Keep some time to practice the favorite activity of their clients: do nothing, enjoy the nature, the forest, the calm but especially you!
